The Bentine is a small family run Hotel under the personal supervision of the owners Ben & Christine for the last 25 years. We are constantly refurbishing throughout under our ongoing commitment to our clientele.

We have recently upgraded to the latest fire regulations with 18 additional smoke detectors and intumecent strips around all the doors for your further safety and comfort.

The Southport Golf Course

designed by Harry Shapland Colt the designer of Royal Liverpool and Royal County Down.

For the Golf enthusiast Southport is an ideal base with 15 courses within a 35min drive some within 15mins and Royal Birkdale the venue for the 'Open Golf Championship' just 5mins drive away, the adjacent Southport Golf Course is just a 2 minute walk from the Hotel.

As you can see we are a '7' iron from the first tee.

For the rail traveller we are approx a £2-£3 taxi ride from the station.
